1. General provisions
These terms of service set out the rules for using the balancebcc.eu website and for booking, paying for, and conducting individual coaching, mentoring, and consulting sessions provided under the Balance BCC brand.
The service provider is Bogumiła Czubińska Czapska, conducting unregistered business activity within the meaning of Polish law (Article 5 of the Entrepreneurs' Law of 6 March 2018), operating under the Balance BCC brand, correspondence address: Zielona 17, 55-011 Siechnice, Poland.
Contact: e-mail bcc@balancebcc.eu.
2. Definitions
- Website — the balancebcc.eu website together with the embedded booking system;
- Provider — Bogumiła Czubińska Czapska, operating under the Balance BCC brand;
- Client — a person booking a Session via the Website;
- Consumer — a Client who is a consumer within the meaning of applicable law, as well as a sole trader for whom the contract is not of a professional character;
- Session — an individual coaching, mentoring, or consulting meeting lasting 50 minutes, conducted online or in person;
- Booking system — the Cal.eu tool embedded on the Website's contact page, with payments handled by the Stripe payment operator.
3. Nature of the services
Sessions are coaching, mentoring, or consulting meetings supporting professional and personal development and decision-making. Sessions do not constitute psychotherapy, medical treatment, psychological diagnosis, or legal, tax, investment, or medical advice.
The Client remains fully responsible for their own decisions and actions taken in connection with participation in the Sessions.
4. Booking and conclusion of the contract
Sessions are booked via the Booking system available on the Website's contact page, by selecting a date and time and providing a first and last name, an email address, and — optionally — a brief description of the topic.
A booking requires payment for the Session in advance (section 5). The contract for the provision of the service is concluded when the Client receives the booking confirmation email.
Bookings can be made no later than 1 day before the selected date and no earlier than 60 days in advance. Online Sessions take place via a video conferencing tool (e.g. Google Meet) — the meeting link is sent in the booking confirmation. In-person Sessions take place in Wrocław, at a location agreed in advance.
5. Price and payment
The price of a Session is 50 EUR for 50 minutes and is the total price. The current price is always displayed in the Booking system before payment is made.
Payment is made in advance, at the time of booking, via the Stripe payment operator (payment card, BLIK, Przelewy24, Google Pay, or other available methods). After payment, the Client receives a confirmation at the email address provided.
6. Cancelling and rescheduling a Session
Cancellation by the Client: The Client may cancel a Session using the link in the booking confirmation email. If the cancellation is made no later than 2 calendar days before the Session, the Client receives an automatic refund of the full amount paid. If the cancellation is made later, or the Client does not attend the Session, the amount paid is non-refundable — it constitutes remuneration for the Provider's readiness to provide the service at the reserved time. This is without prejudice to the Consumer rights described in section 7.
Rescheduling: The Client may reschedule a Session once, no later than 2 calendar days before the original date, using the link in the booking confirmation. Rescheduling requests submitted later require the Provider's consent; if consent is not given, the cancellation rules apply.
Late arrival: A Session ends at the scheduled time regardless of the Client's late arrival. If the Client is unable to join the Session on time, they should contact the Provider as soon as possible — such situations are handled individually, including the possibility of rescheduling the Session.
Cancellation by the Provider: If the Provider must cancel a Session for reasons on the Provider's side, the Client may choose between a new date and a full refund of the amount paid.
7. Right of withdrawal (Consumers)
A Consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving any reason, by submitting a withdrawal statement to the Provider — an email to bcc@balancebcc.eu is sufficient.
If a Consumer books a Session scheduled to take place before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period, by making the booking they request that the service be performed before the expiry of the withdrawal period. In that case:
- once the Session has been fully performed — the right of withdrawal expires, of which the Consumer is hereby informed;
- upon withdrawal before the Session takes place — the Consumer receives a refund of the amount paid;
- upon withdrawal after partial performance of the service — the Consumer bears the cost of the services performed up to the moment of withdrawal.
Refunds are made without undue delay, no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal statement, using the same payment method used by the Consumer, unless the Consumer expressly agrees otherwise.
8. Technical requirements
Participation in an online Session requires: a device with internet access, an up-to-date web browser, a camera and microphone, and an email address. The Provider is not responsible for technical obstacles on the Client's side; in the event of technical problems on the Provider's side, the rules on cancellation by the Provider apply accordingly.
9. Confidentiality
The Provider keeps confidential all information disclosed by the Client during Sessions, in accordance with the ethical standards of coaching work (ICF standard), subject to exceptions arising from applicable law.
10. Complaints
Complaints about the services may be submitted by email to bcc@balancebcc.eu, describing the objections and providing details enabling identification of the booking. The Provider handles complaints within 14 days of receipt and replies to the email address from which the complaint was sent.
A Consumer may also use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, including the assistance of municipal or district consumer ombudsmen or the regional inspectorates of the Trade Inspection in Poland.
11. Personal data
The rules on the processing of personal data are described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law. The choice of Polish law does not deprive a Consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence.
The Provider may amend these terms for important reasons (e.g. changes in the law, in the scope of services, or in the tools used). Bookings made before an amendment are governed by the terms in force at the time of booking. The current version of the terms is always available on this page.
